Come help us celebrate and support one of our best recruiters, Praveena Hook. Praveena was diagnosed with stage 2, grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer) in September - 2 weeks before her 40th birthday. Prognosis is good, however, with this aggressive grade of cancer, she has had to go through chemotherapy and had surgery early in 2018. Right now, Praveena's world revolves around work, treatments, follow up procedures/plans, and trying to maintain the "new normal" life for herself & her family. From her medical team's timeline, she will be on this journey through early/ mid-2019. Your love, support, prayers & encouragement mean more than words can express to Praveena.
Now the fun part! How can you support Praveena??
As you can imagine between chemotherapy and her surgery, medical bills are piling up and what better way to raise funds than to have a Pub Crawl?!? Members of the Anaplan Recruiting Team have come together and organized a San Francisco Pub Crawl to happen on March 1st starting at Bar VIa at Hotel Via just around the corner from the office. The event will start at 4 PM sharp- just in time for happy hour and each bar we visit will provide a signature drink or a portion of costs raised will go to Praveena and her family.
How to participate? We have created Rockstar shirts to showcase a Rockstar employee/friend/loved one like Praveena. Plus it truly showcases everyone's hatred for Cancer- even better! You can purchase these shirts through Pete Lawson, Nicole Jarin or Sue Merone, all of which work out of our San Francisco office. We can take donations via Venmo or just plain old cash. Reminder: these shirts are essentially your ticket in the door, not to say we wouldn't invite you in, but the proceeds received from the t-shirt donations will go directly to Praveena and her family.
