Learn techniques and tools to build a home practice in breath work (pranayama), meditation, mindfulness.
After a gentle movement practice, instructors will guide you through yogic breathing techniques to center and bring focus, including Dirgha (three part yogic breath), Nadi Shodhana (Alternate nostril breath), and Kapalabhati (Skull-Shining Breath). We’ll follow this with an introduction to guided and self-guided meditation techniques and bring the day to a close with a sweet restorative practice. This workshop is designed to rejuvenate, while sharing the tools you need to create a sustainable practice outside the yoga classroom in your life and in your home.
Our small class size and 2 instructors will allow you to ask questions and receive personal attention and assistance in deepening your mindfulness practice.
No prior experience is necessary, this is open to all levels. Please dress comfortably, and feel free to bring any special items you may wish to meditate with.
