Power Year in Review

SEE EVENT DETAILS
2013 was a busy year for California’s energy, economy and environment. A nuclear plant shut down and the state passed a law on fracking that frustrated industry and environmentalists. California also linked arms with Oregon, Washington and British Columbia on a program to promote renewable power and put a price on carbon pollution. The state fared well in court, winning a case that upheld a law requiring oil companies to make cleaner fuels. Join a discussion about the important energy milestones of 2013 and what lies ahead in 2014.

Lauren Faber, West Coast Political Director, Environmental Defense Fund
Craig Miller, Senior Editor, KQED Climate Watch
Amy Myers Jaffe, Executive Director of Energy and Sustainability, UC Davis
