Your support is working! Vision Academy grew in 2016! With your help we…
Served 20% more elementary school children than in 2015, nearly 75% of whom are low-income, at our popular chess and coding summer camp.
Increased our enrollment at our afterschool program by 15%. Also, our staff and mentors worked extremely hard to help our children improve their academic standing, with homework completions rates over 90% this year, up 7% from last year.
Our Vision Academy instructors brought chess to 13 public schools, where they organized 195 children into weekly chess clubs. Kids love us!
