The ninth annual Portola Garden Tour is just around the corner! Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26 from 10am – 3pm and come view the hidden treasures of San Francisco’s garden district. As in the past, Public Works is a proud sponsor of this community building event.
Join us for the opportunity to learn about new plants, getting inspiration for your own backyard and to see some of the best gardens San Francisco has to offer! The garden tour will conclude with a party featuring lots of food, fun and prizes. If you toured in previous years, come again to view several new gardens and to see how your past favorites have grown.
Single tickets are $25 and multiple tickets are $20 each. All proceeds benefit the Portola Garden District scholarship for students of City College of San Francisco’s acclaimed Environmental Horticulture and Floristry Department. You can purchase your ticket online or on San Bruno Avenue at Sterling Bank, Fat Belly Deli, Family Connections, as well as Flora Grubb Gardens in the Bayview.
It would be great if you could help us spread the word – blast it to your friends, display the attached poster and tweet the news to your followers.
