Join the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History as they present another installment in their Pop Up Museum series. Held at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, this event focuses on Santa Cruz African American history, which reaches back as far as 1860's. Local historian Geoffrey Dunn will present some of his current research, as well as never-before-seen photographs, of early black athletes in Santa Cruz County. Visitors are encouraged to bring family photographs, memorabilia, archival materials, recipes, stories, and legends to share.
