Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players, their supporters, and Pokemon fans from around the Northwest are invited to attend the 2013 Pokemon Autumn Regional Championships the weekend of October 12th and 13th. The Alameda County Fairgrounds is hosting the open event where competitors will vie for the coveted title of Pokemon Autumn Regional Champion and valuable Championship Points. The Autumn Regional Championships is the first of three Regional tournaments taking place throughout North America in the 2014 Pokemon Championship Series season including the Winter Regional Championships taking place in January 2014 and Spring Regional Championships taking place in April 2014. Players that achieve a top Championship Points ranking after the Spring Regional Championships will earn Travel Awards to the 2014 Pokemon U.S. Nationals Championships in Indianapolis.
The Pokemon TCG Regional Championship begin Saturday, October 12th at 8:00 a.m. while the Video Game Championship will be held in its entirety on Sunday, October 13th starting at 8:00 a.m. Players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate in the family-friendly event.
