Yes, painting outdoors requires courage, the courage of exposing yourself and declaring to the world that you are an artist who likes Plein Air. This workshop will gradually guide you through the process of finding that brave artist within who is willing to face this level of exposure and judgment for the love of Plein Air.
Yes, there is the prejudice that watercolor is a secondary medium but it is in contradiction with the evidence of famous artists like Turner or Cezanne or Sargent who used this medium to produced recognized masterpieces.
During the three hours you will learn:• Learn basic watercolor techniques
• How to create a small watercolor sketch using, composition, value ,color and perspective
A short demo will be followed by painting and critique. This workshop is for a limited number of participants.Some experience in drawing is required.
