Men, come and explore and play with your inner animal in a safe and welcoming group of men. Using the movement-based Expressive Arts maps and tools of the Tamalpa Life/Art Process, Steven will guide the group of men through a playful series of encounters with their inner animal.

Workshop are on alternating Sunday afternoons on these dates:

Sunday 17 March 2019
Sunday 31 March 2019
Sunday 14 April 2019
Sunday 28 April 2019
Start time is 1pm.
Completion time is 5pm.
There is a 30 minute break.
This is a free series of workshops.
Please note: this is a series of workshops, designed as such. It is intended and desired that all men participate for all five sessions.

Who is your Inner Animal?
Using movement and guided visualisations, you will encounter your inner animal and play with its presence in your life.
You will explore the animal’s evolutionary movement, its movement repertoires and its movement metaphors. You will play with and explore how these movements show up in your own life.
Through guided movement, expressive drawing and creative writing, you will confront, release and develop your animalistic energies.
Have Fun and Get Fit
In these animal-inspired workshops we will play with the evolutionary role of the body parts and metaphors, specifically focusing on the Shoulders, Arms and Hands, the Legs and Feet, the Pelvis, and the Abdomen. We will play with how our animal uses movement to battle, build, gather, hunt, chase, escape, and reproduce… how our animal - essentially - survives.
Using non-choreographed movement and dance, expressive drawing and creative writing, we will explore these themes and investigate how they show up in our lives.
