SEE EVENT DETAILS
Do you work in a startup? Are you interested in how to build or shift the company culture? Do you want your team to be more effective, collaborative and kick-ass?

In this interactive play-shop, we'll give you insights in the latest research on the best startup and corporate cultures. We'll then roll up our sleeves and play several teambuilding games that you can immediately take back to your workplace to improve team communication, trust and collaboration. We'll combine the fun of games and the spontinaity of improv with the proven research on how to create psychological safety and build community.
This event is open to all. Games will be geared towards startups and other small companies or teams (between 2 and 40 people). Anyone who works in a team and is interested in changing or creating culture is invited to come play. Decision makers and those who are empowered to transform and build culture are especially welcome.

The agenda:
6:30: Registration, grab some light snacks and meet some nice people7:00: Icebreaker game to get to know everyone7:15: Short talk on the latest research on the bet startup and corporate cultures, what makes community, how do we create or shift culture, what's psychological safety and more7:35: Play 3-5 more teambuilding games8:30: Circle up and talk about any insights from playing the games

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Even though it's a play workshop, it's geared towards adults in the workplace. If your childcare situation falls through, feel free to bring your kids, but just be forewarned that there may be some potty-mouth language...

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Google Launchpad is at the intersection of Howard and Beale. Parking is free after 6pm around there, but availability will depend on luck. Alternative transportation is highly suggested. Many Muni/Bart options stop close by. We also have a couple of bike racks in the space and more in the basement of the building.

Where do I go once I get to the building?
Come upstairs to the fourth floor, fill out the form on the computers (or skip this step by doing it here: g.co/dev/launchpadspace-reg), give our registration volunteers your name and make a nametag.

What should I wear to the playshop?
This will be an active workshop, so wear something that you can move around in. You might have to walk, sprint or jump intermittently.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
All questions can be directed to Shuai at [email protected]

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Na, we'll have your name on our guestlist. If you want to be ahead of the curve, fill out this form for the Launchpad space and skip the line when you get here: g.co/dev/launchpadspace-reg

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Sure, just tell them to give us your name.
