Since PlanGrid’s conception in 2010, our mission to bring efficiency to the antiquated field collaboration process in construction has resonated with thousands of contractors, designers, and builders all over the world. As grateful as we are to see our app revolutionize the creation of hospitals, stadiums, homes, and more, there are still hundreds of thousands of people in the United States without housing. In San Francisco’s latest census, ~8,000 people live, eat, and sleep in the streets, with at least 30% of them identifying as LGBTQIA+. Just as concerning, considering the alarming rate at which trans women of color are murdered each year, we want to help build opportunity for them and the entire queer community whose basic human rights are threatened every day.
Proceeds benefit TGI Justice (http://www.tgijp.org/).
$5 suggested donation at the door.
Virgil's will donate $3 per specialty cocktail sold.
About the organization:
A group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people—inside and outside of prisons, jails and detention centers—creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom. We work in collaboration with others to forge a culture of resistance and resilience to strengthen us for the fight against human rights abuses, imprisonment, police violence, racism, poverty, and societal pressures. We seek to create a world rooted in self- determination, freedom of expression, and gender justice.
