Heroes and legends of the 1898 fight for Philippine independence against Spain come alive in a stirring performance by by 20 award-winning performers of the highly acclaimed Philippine Ballet Theatre, resident company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. A wonderful repertoire consisting of a suite on the beleaguered revolutionary hero “Andres Bonifacio,” and “Serye at Sayaw,” a brilliant modern ballet representation of regional dances, will be performed along with excerpts from the classics, including the Sugarplum Fairy pas de deux, the Merry Widow pas de deux, and Don Quixote!
