Paxton Gate
The store that started it all, Paxton Gate in San Francisco contains 2000 square feet of vintage taxidermy, ethically-sourced skulls and bones, unique plant life, and an assortment of home goods for the curious collector. Originally opened in an alley off Market Street in 1992, the current Valencia Street location in the Mission District is overflowing with eye-catching ephemera and oddities.
