Join us for a day's worth of fun for people and their furry friends on Saturday, October 15th, 11:00am to 4:00pm!
A fun day for dog lovers, dog owners, and furry friends to celebrate the good work of LBFE in providing social support to isolated older adults. Kids are free! Don't have a dog? You can still join us! Bring a picnic, blankets, and a reusable water bottle!

Schedule for day of events:
11:00am: Yoga by Left Coast Power Yoga-Kaylee (we will be putting down flattened cardboard to avoid the wet grass, feel free to bring your yoga mat)
12:00pm: Food and Beer garden opens
12:30pm:. Costume Contest
3:00pm: Food and Bar closes
Prizes will be given in the following categories:
Best small dog costume
Best mid-sized dog costume
Best big dog costume dog, or person + dog!)
Best in show
A big thank you to our host CBS Meteorologist Paul Heggen who will be the MC for the contest and our wonderful judges, including:
Other activities will include:
Face painting
Dog tarot card readings
Photo booth
Postcard writing station
Pup cups
Biggest hair ball

What is LBFE and what is this event for?
A fundraiser event to support LBFE's (Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly) work in the community. LBFE is a non-profit that works to relieve isolation and loneliness among older adults in San Francisco. In the last year, over 1000+ volunteers helped serve over 350 older adults. Our programs include in-home and virtual (phone or video call)visits, digital literacy training, medical escorts, transportation and more!
LBFE does not charge any fees for services, nor do we have income criteria. LBFE's volunteers are the life-line to our programs. LBFE provides friendship and companionship to isolated and lonely elders. Oftentimes life-long friendships are established with the relationship bringing joy to both the elder and the volunteer.
