Party On! Party People is a series of four interactive parties celebrating elders in our community. Produced in partnership with Little Brother's Friends of the Elderly (LBFE), an international network of nonprofits whose mission is to reduce social isolation and loneliness among older adults, many of whom are low-income, Party On! Party People will take place in different locations around San Francisco from June 9 - 22.
PARTY ON! THE HARRY PARTY

Venue revealed at RSVP
For You will host a surprise party with games and photo ops for Harry, an elder from San Francisco's Chinatown. One of the goals of this event is to kickstart Harry's effort to make new friends, both in person and online through social media. The venue for this event will be announced upon RSVP, with a sliding scale donation of $5-$20

Aunt Charlie's Lounge
In collaboration with the hosts of Angels, a monthly drag and dance show at Aunt Charlie's Lounge, For You will honor Tom, a gay elder who lives in the Tenderloin, with a drag number inspired by the things he loves, from the movie Tootsie to bicycles and the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. Guests at Aunt Charlie's Lounge must be age 21+. Admission at the door is $5.

Ruth's Table
For You will host a happy hour in honor of eight LBFE elders. Over snacks and drinks, storytelling and music, the public is invited to meet and engage with these eight individuals, and perhaps bring an elder friend of their own. This is a free event.

In honor of Janey, a 91-year-old native San Franciscan and lifelong jazz lover, For You will curate an afternoon of live music and conversation in the garden at Ruth's Table. This is a free event.
