Park Chalet Hosts Oktoberfest in Golden Gate Park with Souvenir Steins and Live Music
Park Chalet Coastal Beer Garden in San Francisco hosts "Oktoberfest in the Park" (aka Parktoberfest) on Friday, September 22 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Highlights of the evening will include specialty beers from Head Brewer Marco Tapiz and live music starting at 6:00 PM from Alpine Sounds (the band will play outside). There will also be a Stein Hold competition with a prize. Complementing the entertainment and the Chalet brews will be the availability all day of menu items in the spirit of the occasion such as a Schnitzel Plate with German potato salad and sauerkraut, Grilled Bratwurst with sauerkraut, and a Soft Pretzel with beer cheese. Tickets, priced at $48.00, ensure both that a guest gains admission to an event that could sell out and that they receive a custom souvenir Oktoberfest stein filled with a liter of one of numerous house-brewed Chalet ales. Reserving a private table outdoors for up to six people will also be an option. The restaurant's regular menus will be served during the event. Tickets can be purchased via
