Palo Alto Grill hosts an $85.00 four-course Miloš Winery wine paired dinner on Thursday, March 27 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Executive Chef Ryan Shelton has created a menu designed to pair perfectly with selections from Miloš which is located on the Pelješac Peninsula of Croatia.
Winemaker Frano Miloš is a Plavac Mali ("little blue") grape specialist farming steep 45-degree slopes of ragged, head-pruned vines planted in pure dolomitic limestone. This special dinner at Palo Alto Grill will afford guests the opportunity to meet the next generation of Miloš.
Reservations are offered on a first come, first reserved basis and are limited to 20 people.
Chef Shelton's menu will include Sautéed Shrimp with garlic butter and shaved fennel served with a 2012 Stagnum Rosé; Oven-Braised Sarma Cabbage stuffed with veal and rice with a 2009 Plavac; Dalmatian Pastiçada Beef Short Ribs with fig, roasted garlic, gnocchi with a 2006 Stagnum; and Brioche Beignets with strawberry-rose ice cream and meringue served with 2007 Stagnum Poluslatki (semi-sweet) 2007 Stagnum Desertni.
