Palo Alto Grill is hosting a Croatian wine paired dinner on Wednesday, January 29 with reservations available from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Guests will be able to enjoy select Croatian-inspired a la carte menu items that can be paired as they choose with select Croatian wines being offered by the glass, in flights, and by the bottle. The restaurant's staff will be available to assist diners in making copacetic choices.
The evening's menu highlights will include small plates ($9.00 to $14.00) of Burek (phyllo pastry with cheese); Cevapcici with Ajvar (veal and beef sausage, fries, pita); char-grilled Octopus with potatoes, romesco, olive oil; and a cheese and charcuterie selection of Balkan cured meats. The entrées ($26.00 to $30.00) will be oven braised Sarma (cabbage stuffed with beef and rice); Dalmatian Pasticada (beef short ribs, fig, roasted garlic, gnocchi; and whole grilled Branzino with Swiss chard and potatoes.
