Palo Alto Grill in Palo Alto, California, will donate to Croatian flood relief efforts, from Friday, May 23 through Monday, June 2, 25% of the dinner service bill for food and beverage for all customers who dine at the restaurant and cite this program.
Over the last week, extensive rains in Croatia and surrounding areas have resulted in what has been described as the worst flooding in a century with the Danube, Europe's second largest river, rising to record levels. Dozens of people have lost their lives and upwards of half a million others have been forced to flee their homes.
Luka Dvornik, the owner of Palo Alto Grill, has family and friends in harm's way and wants to do what he can to provide relief to all victims of this disaster.
Since opening in April of 2013, Palo Alto Grill has received considerable customer acclaim resulting in a OpenTable Diners' Choice "Hot Spot" designation.
