Palo Alto Double 8K Run/Walk

Our Double course will be run in the Palo Alto Bayland Open Space starting and finishing at the Baylands Athletic Center. The Double 8K Run/Walk is a two-stage trail and road run (5K+halftime+3K). This very safe and runable course will amaze you!
The 1,940-acre Baylands Preserve is one of the largest tracts of undisturbed marshland remaining in the San Francisco Bay. Miles of multi-use trails provide access to a unique mixture of tidal and fresh water habitats. The preserve has a substantial resident population of birds as well as being a major migratory stopover on the Pacific Flyway. Many consider this area to be one of the best bird watching areas on the west coast.
This exciting trail course is limited to 600 runners and is not suited for strollers. We will also have several photographers taking race photos for you at NO additional cost.
