Pacific Northwest Overviews & Southern Oregon

SEE EVENT DETAILS
This workshop exposes students to the national importance of Pacific Northwest wines and key geological features of that region. Then delves into the history of Oregon wine, that state's stringent wine-labeling laws and its geography, climate and key grape varieties.

Next, we dive deeply into the intriguing appellations of Southern Oregon. A beautiful area with a unique, almost continental climate, it's becoming a hotbed of biodynamic viticulture and an excellent source of Rhone and Spanish varieties.
