Pacific Commons (http://pacificcommons.com/), a regional lifestyle center in Fremont, California, wants to share inspirational stories about local heroes who have made a difference in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Who qualifies? Grocery store clerks, medical care workers, police, fire, automotive attendants, or any other person who played significant role in supporting the community during the pandemic can be considered a "local hero." The shopping center invites the public to share pictures of these people via its online nomination form at
https://pacificcommons.com/localheroes, and has extended the deadline for submissions until the end of September. Once submissions are finalized, Pacific Commons will unveil a collage of these local heroes on Facebook and Instagram. One local hero will be randomly selected to receive a $500 shopping spree from Pacific Commons as a thank you for what they have done for the community. The last day to submit a photo is Wednesday, September 30th.
