Pacific Commons will welcome the Year of the Rat with an exciting and festive Chinese New Year celebration on Sunday, February 2nd, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The celebration will kick off the Lunar New Year in style with a traditional Lion Dance, a martial arts exhibition, music provided by Chinese musicians, and a dance performance by the spectacular Xiaopei Chinese Dance school and company. There will also be face painting, balloon twisting, a kids craft celebrating the Year of the Rat, two beautiful stilt walker performers, and a photo op in front of a giant gong.
