Opera for Families: 'Sounds of the Earth'

Trees, flowers, snow and sun. All have been themes in classical songs over the years, often as metaphors for people's emotions.

Opera for Families will celebrate the beauty of nature in music.

Pianist Efrat Levy, the creator of Opera for Families, soprano Amy Foote and mezzo soprano Deborah Rosengaus will perform a selection of pieces from "The Sound of Music," "Frozen," "Le Nozze di Figaro" and more. Their performance will be enhanced with explanations, role-playing games and exercises that will help the young audience explore different aspects of opera.
