Metta has been translated as loving-kindness, universal friendliness, or simply kindness. The formal and informal practices of metta are not about feeling only good feelings. Rather, it’s a gradual training that allows us to withhold ill will and to extend good will, a respectful friendliness, toward ourselves and all other beings.
This series will include guided sitting and walking meditation, discussion, group process, Q & A, and chanting.
Teachers: Jill Hyman and Bruce Hyman
