This new certified farmers’ market introduces many new local, organic growers and food purveyors and long standing neighborhood favorites. The market provides the perfect combination of the five food groups from the USDA's http://www.choosemyplate.gov website for healthy eating habits.
Supporting local family farmers with viable outlets for their crops has been a priority for CFMA says Doug Hayden, President of California Farmers’ Markets Association, "We are happy to be back in the Blossom Hill area with over 40 farmers with the freshest spring and summer crops and over 10 gourmet food purveyors with delicious, unique dishes."
The Blossom Hill Saturday Certified Farmers’ Market is a location approved by the Santa Clara County Agricultural Commissioner where farmers offer for sale only those fruits and vegetables they grow themselves.
