"Once Forever After"
created and performed by Catherine Debon and Christina Lewis, technical support by Amanda Ortmayer
"Once Forever After" is an intimate look at the deconstruction of the Happily Ever After Story. What happens when everything falls apart? When the dress does not fit? When the frame gets too small, and the picture is fading? Using images, original text and movement, Catherine Debon and Christina
Lewis aim to find out.
Catherine Debon is a writer, performer, and drama therapist. When creating she uses personal stories and physical theater improvisation to weave narrative, movement and musicality. Her solo, "Alma Colorada," won Best of the 2011 San Francisco Fringe.
She is grateful to be back performing at the EXIT and for the delightful artistic collaboration with Christina Lewis.
Christina Lewis is a professional clown and drama therapist. She has been the artistic director of the Clown School of San Francisco for the past 23 years where she specializes in creating unique, original and meaningful physical theatre out of people's personal material. She is honored to be
working on this project with Catherine.
