BOOK SPACE

Berkeley's Finnish Kaleva Hall was built in 1932 by local immigrant families. It is still home to Finnish Lodge #21, and is also used by local artists and community groups. Spaces are available to rent for classes, rehearsals, events, lectures, and more.

Current mainstay programs of the Lodge include the Bay Area's Finnish Independence Day Celebration on the first Sunday of December and the annual May Day (Vappu) dances.

Lodge 21 welcomes new members and proposals for Finnish cultural activities.
