Oktoberfest comes to SideTrack Bar + Grill in downtown Pleasanton presenting food, drinks, music and more in an outdoor Biergarten-style event. Friday, October 1 through Sunday, October 3, the restaurant's parking lot will transform into an Oktoberfest destination featuring a large tent, stage for traditional live music each evening and a walk-up bar offering German food and drink.
The only way to reserve a seat is to purchase VIP tickets. A limited number are available each day and include a guaranteed seat along with food, a beer and signature beer stein.
*While SideTrack's Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event, guests are required to be 21 and older on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 7pm.
Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. IDs required at the door.
The Food & Drink: A limited menu of Oktoberfest-inspired food and drink is available all weekend long. Za German Plate includes pretzel, sausage, potato salad and more and Za Vorks includes the German plate with a 16-ounce beer in commemorative SideTrack stein (limited quantities). Additional food items include a la carte pretzels, kids hot dog with "tater todds" and kids mac and cheese with "tater todds," for example.
Three different German beers , wine and Jagermeister will be flowing all weekend long so bring your own stein or purchase a commemorative SideTrack stein at the door. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available as well.
The Entertainment: Music is essential for any Oktoberfest and it takes center stage at SideTrack's celebration with live music Friday and Saturday night and ongoing music from a local DJ throughout the daytime and between the evening's live performances. On Friday and Saturday from 6pm - 9pm, the Bay Area's Big Lou the Accordion Princess takes center stage, bringing the traditional mix of polka and German folk music to the Oktoberfest celebration. Paul Dominquez of JRD Productions keeps the music going throughout the weekend, deejaying between live music sets.
In addition to music scheduled throughout the day, guests can enjoy cornhole outside the Oktoberfest tent.
Attire: Lederhosen or dirndl dresses are optional and highly encouraged!
