Sign ups are open NOW for our 8th annual rappel event on May 8th. The 8th on the 8th! Our alumni, staff and community members go Over the Edge of the Grand Hyatt San Francisco in Union Square and raise scholarship funds for youth and veterans to participate in life-changing outdoor leadership programs. Onlookers and an online audience of thousands will be able to join in the adventure while keeping their feet on the ground streaming the event live or watching from a neighboring roof deck.
Our mission is to change lives through challenge and discovery. We serve over 3,000 students a year on 10,000 days of programming. More than half of Outward Bound California students receive scholarship support. Our experiential education programs, in both wilderness and urban settings, focus on belonging, reflection, physical engagement and courage, skills needed to find success in today's world.
Through this event we will raise over $350,000 to support scholarships!
Every dollar raised empowers students to build leadership skills, an impact that stretches far into the future, building more resilient and compassionate communities. Join us today!
