Sister District San Francisco's Parent Taking Action (PTA) team, is bringinb back our family-friendly BBQ fundraiser in the park!
Last year's gathering was such a big success, we're doing it again. And this year we're hoping to turn Virginia BLUE in the 2019, off-year elections with democratic trifecta (we already have the Governor's seat). We're just two seats away in both the House of Delegates and the State Senate in this crucial state ahead of the 2020 census. VA could also be 38th state, the last needed, to ratify the ERA.Sister District SF's PTA would like to invite you to join us for a BBQ in the park with face painting, a bounce house, and other fun kids activities, as well as delicious treats. You can help us support Karen Mallard (VA 84), a mom, public school teacher, union representative and political organizer, who has served her Virginia Beach community for the past 30 years. Help Karen get elected so she can expand health care, better fund education, and fight for green jobs and environmental protections.If you can't join us, you can still help support Karen and flip VA from #redtoblue -- in small, state legislative races, your donation has a much bigger impact.
