Non Stop Bhangra returns on November 4th with installment #137 to close out 2017 with another colorful and bangin night of music and dance. If you haven't made it out to dance with us this year, here's your chance. Voted as one of the best dance parties in San Francisco, Non Stop Bhangra is a destination where everyone who goes regardless of age, gender, race, creed, or rhythm, lets go of themselves completely stirring up the dance floor with unbridled enthusiasm. Imagine a scene from a Bollywood movie smack in the middle of a thumping nightclub, swirling colors, rhythm of pouding feet, bouncing shoulders, relentless energy, and briliant beats-thats Non Stop Bhangra. Featuring dancers, djs, drummers, guest musicians, visuals, live art, and more, its a treat for the eyes and ears.
As always, the night will begin with the ritual Bhangra dance lesson followed by beautiful dance performances with Dholrhythms Dance Company. To round out the night, NSB's own DJ Jimmy Love, Rav-E and DJ Nix will be on the one's and two's with bangin beats all night while accompanied by live dhol drumming Joining the crew this month will be special guest DJ Mixtabishi who is widely regarded as Australia's #1 Indian DJ. With a career spanning over a decade, he has been rocking clubs across Australia, Asia, Africa, The Middle East, and Canada. This is his first time playing at Non Stop Bhangra and we are stoked to have him in the mix. Beyond sound and dance, Non Stop Bhangra caters to your eyes all night with visuals, live art by Marcus Murray, while photographer Odell Hussey captures the magic.
