Noemi Zeigler aka Madeline Minx Superstar - You’ve Been Served

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Award-winning writer, filmmaker, and performer, Noemi Zeigler, aka Madeline Minx Superstar, presents her new one woman show YOU'VE BEEN SERVED at the Marsh SF's Monday Night Marsh May 6th & 20th.

After getting served divorce papers on the top of a garbage bin outside her apartment in the Mission, Noemi sets out to redefine herself in midlife. Think 'Eat, Pray, Love' for those of us who can't afford the exotic locations and self-congratulatory pep talks, but can fit in the occasional hot rebound sex during lunch breaks.

"Minx shows off a terrific sense of timing." - SF Weekly

"She is self-deprecatingly delicious!" - about.com

Comments Zeigler on You've Been Served, "The show is a Spaghetti Western style standoff with a process server who's trying to hand me divorce papers. My husband lies, cheats and breaks his penis while having sex with his mistress. No way I'm gonna let that go!"

Noemi Zeigler earned her MFA in Film Directing from the American Film Institute. She has performed multi-media, one woman shows at New Langton Arts in San Francisco, Media Archeology: Software Cinema Festival in Houston, Installation, Performance and Interactivity Festival in Santa Fe, and was a semifinalist in the storytelling competition at iO West's Scripted Comedy Festival in Los Angeles. She built up a cult reputation performing her own original music, stand-up comedy, storytelling, and has produced multiple video series' including The Minx Mandate and Hot Flash AF. Her work utilizes comedy to explore female identity, sexuality, pain and power. Well known in San Francisco, as the 'Jewish Madonna', the 'Rabbi of Rap', and 'Feminem', Noemi burst her way into the San Francisco underground scene, as Madeline Minx Superstar, discovered by drag-icon, Heklina, who later became a collaborator.

"Laugh... cringe... Minx is frighteningly funny." - H+ Solutions
