SAN FRANCISCO (August 20, 2018) – The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the nonprofit organization supporting local treasures that include Muir Woods, Alcatraz, Lands End, and Stinson Beach, among others, is pleased to announce that its second annual Trails Forever NightHowl event will take place on Saturday, September 29 on San Francisco’s treasured waterfront park, Crissy Field. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to trail building, habitat restoration, and other key projects and programs of the Parks Conservancy.
“We’re excited to welcome San Francisco’s next generation of young professionals and introduce them to the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the important work we do to preserve our parks and trails,” said Traci Eckels, Chief Development Officer, Parks Conservancy. “Crissy Field under the stars is just magical and we invite all park lovers to join us.”
Beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, guests will be welcomed into the Trails Forever NightHowl event on Crissy Field—with the spectacular backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands. A hosted bar of specialty cocktails, wine and beer, as well as buffet noshes and s’mores by the campfire will sustain partiers as they explore the event’s many fun entertainments and surprises. Deep Eddy Vodka’s Dive-In Trailer will be on hand to keep things hopping, and guests can hit the dance floor all night long to the sounds of DJ SOSUPERSAM.
“Last year’s inaugural event drew more than 500 revelers, and this year it’ll be even bigger and better,” said Ame Rose Cruz, Events Manager, Parks Conservancy. “It’ll be one howl of a party.”
