The Shopping Center’s Major Spring Event Features Live Performances by Former “X-Factor” Contestant, Ellona Santiago and Rock-n-Roll Band, Highway 4; an Auto Showcase; Great Food and a Kid Zone
NewPark Mall will be hosting the Tri-Cities Motor Rally on Saturday, May 4 starting at 11:00 a.m. to take place in the parking lot between Macy’s and Red Robin at the shopping center. Presented by the Newark Chamber of Commerce (www.newark-chamber.com) and Team District 10 (www.teamd10.com), the Motor Rally is a fun-filled event loaded with family festivities and is FREE and open to the public.
The Tri-Cities Motor Rally is a car show that welcomes many different makes and models everything from classics, hot rods, modern tuners, exotics, trucks, motorcycles and the wildest custom cars. It will feature live musical entertainment with special guests, teen vocalist, Ellona Santiago (former “X-Factor” contestant) and Highway 4rock-n-roll band. In addition, spinmaster, DJ Aaron Dalugdug will be playing the hottest tunes and there will be a wide assortment of great food vendors, prizes, raffles and a Kid Zone to include “face striping.” In addition, Mobile Dyno Testing will be on site to test car’s potential horsepower.
Awards (including gift cards/certificates) will be allotted in multiple categories: Best of Show (1st place will receive a $50 gift certificate); Best Team Presentation; Best Import; Best Euro; Best Pure Muscle; Best Motorcycle; Best Trick Truck; Best Female Ride; Best Engine Bay; Best Restoration; Wildest Custom; and the People’s Choice (winner receives $50 gift certificate).
