New Year's Eve Celebration at The Terrace Room in Oakland
On New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31, The Terrace Room in Oakland will offer a $150.00 celebration package beginning at 7:00 PM with a three-course prix fixe dinner that will be followed at 9:00 PM by dancing and live music from Lavay Smith & The Red Hot Skillet Lickers. Guests will enjoy a midnight Champagne toast and party favors throughout the evening. The dinner, prepared by Chef Jack Andrews, will include entrée choices of Golden Beet and Truffle Risotto with sautéed beet greens and shaved ciogga salad with a citrus horseradish dressing; Porcini Rubbed Short Rib with winter vegetable ragout, grilled artichokes and pinot noir jus; or Slow Braised Halibut with carrot stained cauliflower, baby leeks, marinated olives and blood orange. An optional by the glass pairing of Rodney Strong wines will be available for an additional charge.
