New Year's Eve Celebration at Homestead Restaurant
On New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31, Homestead Restaurant in Oakland will open at 5:30 PM with seating until 11:00 PM serving a $100.00 five-course prix fixe menu with main course choices of turbot and truffle with fingerling potatoes, pickled shallots and hollandaise; ribeye and truffle with winter root vegetables, creamed spinach and sauce Périgord; or egg and truffle with crispy späetzle, dinosaur kale and Honeynut squash. The menu will also include an amuse-bouche and mignardises and there will be vegetarian and gluten free options. A supplemental wine pairing will be offered for an additional $100.00. The restaurant will be decorated in the spirit of the occasion and each guest will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine (non-alcoholic option as well) to begin their evening. For those who are present at midnight, there will also be a complimentary round of sparkling wine (non-alcoholic option as well), plus handmade edible party favors will be provided.
