New Year's Eve Celebration at Homestead in Oakland
On New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31, Homestead in Oakland will have two seatings, both with prix fixe tasting menus with choices for each course. For the first seating, 5:00 to 6:15 PM, there will be a $100.00 four-course prix fixe menu and for the second seating, 6:30 PM to close, there will be a $130.00 five-course prix fixe menu. For both seatings there will be an optional pairing of wines by the glass for an additional $70.00. The tasting menus main course choices will be ribeye cooked in the fireplace with sunchokes, chanterelles and bone marrow or butter poached turbot with robuchan potatoes, artichokes and Dungeness crab. Guests planning on staying at the restaurant to celebrate the new year will receive a complimentary sparkling wine toast at midnight. All prices exclude tax but include service.
