New Year's Eve Celebration at Homestead
On New Year's Eve, Thursday, December 31, Homestead in Oakland will have two seatings, both with prix fixe tasting menus only. The first seating, 5:00 to 6:30 PM, will be served a $100.00 four-course prix fixe menu with an optional pairing of wines by the glass ($60.00); the second seating, from 6:30 on, will be served a $130.00 five-course prix fixe menu and an optional pairing of wines by the glass ($70.00). Menu highlights will include American caviar, Maine lobster, Hudson Valley foie gras, hamachi crudo, grilled ribeye and seared black bass plus, for an additional $25.00, a black truffle supplement will be available for any dishes offered that evening. Second seating guests will receive a complimentary sparkling wine toast at midnight. All prices exclude tax but include service.
