The Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History hosts a series of historical walks in Santa Cruz where walkers can enjoy a breath of fresh air and history with local historians. This first installment focuses on New Brighton history and will be led by longtime New Brighton and Sea Cliff docent, Jeff Barnes. Attendees will learn about everything from human migrations in this region to the amazing Sooty Shearwaters, a bird that visits annually from New Zealand. Walkers will meet at the Pacific Visitors Center. Free admission.
