Neil Frances began as a creative partnership between Australian songwriter Marc Gilfry and Southern California producer Jordan Feller in 2016. Initially connecting through their love of pop hooks and electronic dance music, the pair slowly introduced funk, psychedelia and R&B to the mix while experimenting with organic instrumentation on their 2018 debut EP, Took a While. The duo's first full-length album, There Is No Neil Frances, was released in 2022, followed by their sophomore album, It's All a Bit Fuzzy (October 2023).
