Natividad Diabetes Education Center Helps Increase Awareness For World Diabetes Day November 14th
The Diabetes Education Center (DEC) at Natividad Medical Center will celebrate World Diabetes Day November 14th themed this year as “A Day in the Life of Diabetes.”
Save the Date of November 14th:
· There will be an information booth inside of the main lobby of building 200-Out Patient Services where anyone can come and pick up diabetes information.
· November 14th
· 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
· NOTE: There will be no testing on this date
Diabetes education is a collaborative process through which people with or at risk for diabetes gain the knowledge and skills needed to modify behavior and successfully self-manage the disease and its related conditions. Services are provided by diabetes educators.
