Locals need not leave the city for their taste of National S’mores Day on August 10th. With four deluxe fire pits and six extra toasting stations scattered throughout the park, SPARK is bringing this classic campfire treat to the heart of Mission Bay.
S’more enthusiasts can roast and build their gooey, golden, graham cracker masterpiece with $5 custom S’mores kits, containing all the goodies for three double-marshmallow s’mores and a roasting skewer. For the adult experience, guests can head to the bar for a graham cracker-rimmed and marshmallow-topped High Water Brewing Campfire Stout. Brewed with molasses and graham crackers, it’s the perfect pairing for an evening of sticky-sweet indulgence.
After gobbling and guzzling the perfect s'mores, happy campers can grab dinner from fourteen food trucks, try their hand at outdoor games like cornhole, giant jenga, and giant connect four, or join the bluegrass jam sesh. Local group, Bluegrass Jam Band, will host an open jam around the fire. S’more musicians are encouraged to pack their guitar, picket, or tambourine and play along.
