NAMI San Francisco is hosting a NAMIWalks on Saturday, November 9th at Lake Merced, and registration begins promptly at 8:30AM. The NAMIWalks is a fundraiser that helps us keep our free educational classes and support groups going in order to further educate, support, and advocate for those living with mental illnesses as well as their loved ones.
To make this NAMIWalks a success, we will need all the support we can get from the San Francisco community!
We are looking for:
Team captains: You are leaders who will start a team and take the initiative to raise funds for our Walk. Additionally, each team captain who raises $100+ will receive a free NAMIWalks T-shirt. Team captains are essential to the NAMIWalks because YOU are the leaders of our community and will help us to achieve our goals. Please sign up to be a team captain today!
Sponsors: We are also looking for companies and corporations to help fund our Walk. We have different incentives for different amounts of donations (please contact Walk Manager Stephanie Li at
[email protected] for inquiries). Please donate today!
Volunteers: This event definitely could not happen without the help of wonderful volunteers. Please sign up to be a part of this wonderful event! We need volunteers for:
-Set up
-Parking patrol
-Registration
-Foot traffic control/ water bearers
-Clean up
It's shaping up to be a great walk this year and we look forward to seeing you at Lake Merced on November 9th!
