Doctor Inkwell would like to introduce you to Spirit Works Distillery, founded by Ashby & Timo Marshall. Ashby is the former Navy officer who heads the mostly female team. Her husband Timo comes from rural England where sloe berries grow. On this private tour, we will see their beautifully high-tech, spotless facility, hear about her process, and taste the grain-to-glass spirits: Vodka, Gin, Sloe Gin, Barrel Gin, and Straight Wheat and Straight Rye Whiskeys. Doctor Inkwell loves the Spirit Works team for their craft precision and tightly run ship, their unusual backgrounds, and for championing women in a male-dominated industry. And also the crazy way they use music----but more on that in person!
