Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center's 15th Annual Awards Dinner

This year we have chosen to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba and acknowledge the ongoing injustices perpetrated upon the Palestinian people.
This year awards go to:
Voices for Justice in Palestine-Rossmoor - An official club in the retirement community, it holds monthly programs on Palestine including on its history and current events with a mission to promote peace and justice by offering perspectives rarely heard.
Jewish Voice For Peace-Bay Area - A chapter of the largest US-based grassroots organization dedicated to promoting full equality, democracy, and self-determination for both Israelis and Palestinians.
NorCal Sabeel - A local chapter of Friends of Sabeel, an international non-profit Christian organization. It seeks justice and peace in the Holy Land by working together with Jews, Christians and Muslims.
The reception at 5 PM will allow time for tabling, socializing and networking. The full-course dinner will commence at 6 PM and will include Middle-Eastern delicacies. Wine, Speakers and Music, which will round out the evening.
The goal of this event is to not only provide an educational and social networking opportunity for our community of members and friends, but also give recognition and a bigger voice to the activists in our area, those who are actually "doing the work!". What better way to create an even larger community of activists than to share a meal together? Please join us!
$55 for Center members, $65 for non-members, $400 for reserved table for eight.
