Movies on the Square Double Feature - Sleepless in Seattle plus Turning Red

A special double feature happens on June 22, when Movies on the Square brings Sleepless in Seattle and Turning Red to the big screen. Turning Red at 6pm is the story of Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother's dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence, who "poofs" into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited. Our feature film, beloved 1993 classic Sleepless in Seattle pairs up Baltimore journalist (Meg Ryan) with a Seattle widower and single father (Tom Hanks) when she hears him on a radio call-in show.

Movies are shown in high-definition Blu-Ray and Surround sound when available. Redwood City is THE ONLY city in California offering surround sound movies, so come enjoy the scene and experience outdoor "theater" with our new Jumbotron LED Video screen. Come early for the best seats (a limited number of chairs and tables are available). Bring your blankets and pick up take-out food from the nearby wonderful restaurants!
