The Monterey History & Art Association and the Museum of Monterey present the another installment in the "Film Noir Series" portion of Movie Night at the Museum. This month features a screening of the 1949 film, Stray Dog. Directed by the legendary Akira Kurosawa, the film follows Murukami, a young homicide detective, who has his pocket picked on a bus and loses his pistol. He frantically dashes about trying to recover the weapon without success until taken under the wing of an older and wiser detective, Sato, and together they decide to track the culprit.
