On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse in Palo Alto will be open for brunch from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and for dinner from 5:30 to 9:00 PM. The brunch will be prix fixe with a $65.00 three-course menu for adults and a $16.00 two-course for children 10 years of age and under. Among the notable brunch offerings will be Lobster (Wild Maine) Soft Scrambled Eggs with Parmesan cheese, chives, tomato and chervil and a New York Steak (Nebraska) with truffle fries and miso creme fraiche. For dinner, an a la carte menu will be served with entrée highlights including Halibut T-Bone (Wild Half Moon Bay) with baby octopus, butter beans, tomato and prosciutto and Wagyu Chuck Flap Bavette with cauliflower, enoki mushrooms and a bordelaise sauce. Moms will receive a glass of complimentary sparkling wine and all guests complimentary juice and coffee during brunch.
