Mother's Day Dining at Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland

On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland will be serving brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with Happy Hour service from 3:00 to 6:00 PM and dinner from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. There will be special a la carte brunch offerings in the spirit of the occasion including Lobster and Mascarpone Scramble for $19.00 with spring onions, sourdough toast and country potatoes; Chalet Eggs Benedict for $15.00 with braised natural pork shoulder and warm buttermilk biscuits; Bananas Foster Rum French Toast for $13.00 with banana-cinnamon rum caramel sauce, whipped cream and smoked bacon; Braised Lamb Shank for $24.00 with green spring garlic mashed potatoes and glazed vegetables; Grilled Filet Mignon and Poached Egg Cobb Salad for $21.00 with Zoe’s bacon, overnight tomatoes, preserved artichokes, avocado and Point Reyes blue cheese dressing; Lake Chalet Crab Louis for $22.00 with organic greens and iceberg lettuce, lemon vinaigrette, citrus fruits, tomato, avocado and a classic Louis dressing; Roasted Salmon for $24.00 with stinging nettle risotto with mascarpone and Parmesan cheese, spring vegetables and salsa salmoriglio; and Chicken-Prosciutto Meatballs and Rigatoni Pasta for $18.00 with white winter wheat rigatoni, housemade meatballs and pepper cream sauce. Moms will receive a complimentary Gerbera daisy while supplies last. Also, Venetian gondola rides on Lake Merritt provided by Gondola Servizio will be offered to Lake Chalet guests for a $5.00 discount and the 50 minute lake tour will include Italian desserts in a gift box, a bottle of premium Italian sparkling wine, and a flower for each mom.
